Shannon’s areas of practice include commercial, construction and general liability litigation, representing both individual and corporate clients in Connecticut state and federal court. In addition to her civil litigation caseload, Shannon handles a number of workers’ compensation matters, defending various local and national companies against workers’ compensation claims. Shannon also assists with the firm’s appellate practice. Most recently, Shannon has begun assisting with the firm’s tribal law cases, defending Connecticut casinos against personal injury actions.

Prior to joining Natale & Wolinetz, Shannon spent five years as an associate in the Stamford office of a national law firm, where she focused on civil defense litigation, including a broad spectrum of personal injury, product liability and commercial collection cases. Shannon acted as national coordinating counsel for several major insurers and self-insureds, representing commercial trucking clients in all aspects of international transportation litigation. Shannon also handled a large caseload of workers’ compensation matters, and regularly appeared before the State of Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission.
